On March 13, we went over to Mike and Sarah's to help celebrate Claire's first birthday. It was the first little kid birthday party that Sullivan attended, and -- as you can tell by the pictures -- he had a great time (or not). :)
Claire did her birthday up right and had her very own birthday cake to stick her hands into, but she didn't feel very well on the day of her birthday, so the cake part of the birthday party was fairly subdued, I understand, and ended up with Claire puking up the cake she did eat. Sully and I missed the entire thing because he was hungry and was eating at the time, but this is what witnesses have told me.
And Christian has proven to be the real party animal of the bunch, starting at an early age with a thirst for Hamm's. God love him, Christian is a Midwestern beer drinker at heart. No pretentious microbrews for this kid!
