According to the doctor, Junior Sandholm should show up exactly three months from today, on December 10. It's crazy to think that he will be here so soon! Gabe and I have started to get in gear and have begun preparing for his arrival by finally getting our registry going (it's at www.babiesrus.com if you are interested in checking it out); thinking seriously about what names are going to make the short-list; and signing up for pretty much every baby class the hospital offers. Starting in October, I swear we are going to have at least one, if not two, classes a week! From the birthing class to the newborn care class to the infant safety class to the breastfeeding class -- I think we're going to be (hopefully) well-educated when this wee one joins the world! I'm also hoping that all the classes means I have to read less books. The books are fine, but lord, can they be boring. It's like reading an encyclopedia sometimes with some of these pregnancy texts!
This past week has flown by with Gabe and me getting back into the swing of things after being gone for a week on vacation. Catching up at work, catching up on chores around the house, Gabe catching up with coursework for his MBA class, college football starting, professional football starting...it's been a busy few days! Each of these can be blog posts in and of themselves (For instance, did anybody else find the Iowa v. Syracuse game very hard to watch?! Good lord...), and maybe I'll get to them later this week. However, right now I have babies on the brain, and still am getting used to the fact that in three months, there will be three Sandholm's who live at Sandholm Ranch, not two. Well, and two cats. We can't forget Jack and Jinxie. Exciting times!
